A set of 10 double-sided cards designed to promote pre-writing skills. Each set contains a mix of teal, yellow and orange cards.
The hand movements needed to replicate the shapes on these flashcards encourage practice of the six basic patterns that form the basis of English letters. 
 
Always encourage starting the tracing from the smiley face.
 
Ideas for use:
· Trace over the pre-writing flashcards with a finger, pencil, cotton tip or paintbrush (experiment with water, paint, shaving cream etc). 
· Using the pre-writing flashcards as a guide, use a pencil, paintbrush or cotton tip with paint to copy the patterns onto paper, creating these patterns independently.
